The Covered Bond Awards 2020

How your votes count

Thank you for taking the time to vote in GlobalCapital's Covered Bond Awards 2020 survey.

We trust that you will only answer those questions based on your personal knowledge.

You may have been asked to vote in this poll by a bank, but you are under no obligation to vote for them. We are after your personal opinion and not the opinions of the issuers and dealers that have canvassed you to vote for them!

Your vote will remain strictly confidential.

The awards take account of business conducted in the 12 months from August 2019 to July 2020, and not just this calendar year.

The voting period will end at 5pm on Friday August 14.

The Rules
  • Block voting, for one institution across all categories it has been nominated for, is not permitted.
  • Voting for your own institution is not permitted.
  • One vote per institution.
  • Banks within a single network will be considered as a single institution.
  • The first vote from an institution is the one that counts, unless bill.thornhill@globalcapital.com is told otherwise.

Who can vote
  • Lead managers must have syndicated at least one publicly distributed benchmark covered bond from August 2019 to July 2020.
  • Issuers will have launched at least one publicly placed transaction of €250m or more in the past 18 months.
  • Investors will have bought covered bonds between July 2019 and August 2020 with the more active getting a larger weighting.
Please take a look through these shortlists before voting.

You will have an opportunity to select "none of the above" for each question

These awards should only reflect activity in the covered bond market over the past 12 months
